We have 2 resident Ensembles;

Paragon Ensemble has over 50 major commissions of new music and 3 CD recordings. The Ensemble has toured UK wide as well as in Italy, Iceland and Germany. Performances include venues such as Wigmore Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall and Festival performances include Edinburgh International Festival, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, St Magnus Festival and Potsdam New Music Festival. Paragon Ensemble continues to perform and is dedicated to performing new and experimental music. We aim to commission and perform music from Scottish and International Composers and provide young composers with opportunities to develop their skills through tailor-made projects with Paragon musicians. Kaleidophone is Paragon’s performing ensemble where musicians from cultures and traditions from around the world, including China, Africa, India and the Middle East come together for the exchange of intercultural musical ideas.  Through Kaleidophone, Paragon has also developed a successful music programme aimed at people of all ages from the refugee and new migrant communities.  To book Kaleidophone or find out more please visit our Ensembles Portfolio
