Learn a musical instrument, meet new friends and discover all there is to know about Music!
Paragon Music and ENABLE Scotland are running an amazing new Saturday Morning Music programme in Glasgow specially designed for young people (12 – 18 yr) with additional support needs. Top professional Paragon tutors will give one-to-one lessons to help you become proficient on one of the following instruments:
Guitar – Violin – Bass – Percussion – Saxophone – Piano
Students will also learn how to make up their own music, and play together in groups for performances at the end of each teaching block.
The programme runs on Saturdays at the GRAHAM HILLS BUILDING, University of Strathclyde, 16 Richmond Street, Glasgow, G1 1XQ (fully accessible).
Course Details:
- Every Saturday morning: 10.00 – 1.00
- 4 x Teaching Blocks of 6 weeks each (24 weeks per annum)
- Course Fees: £18 per teaching block of 6 weeks
- Financial support for instrument hire or purchase
- Funding available to students for Transport and Support Costs
