What is the invisible force that turns our creative ideas into scientific discoveries?
Torque is a new interdisciplinary music and dance piece devised by dancers, musicians and scientists using ideas from renewable energy, inclusive contemporary dance, and sonic arts. Engineer, Calum Cossar, composer, Pippa Murphy and choreographer, Caroline Bowditch have produced a stunning new work for Paragon musicians and dancers — its force will throw you into a state of flux and rotate your world on its axis — it is Torque!
Composer: Pippa Murphy
Choreographer: Caroline Bowditch
Scientist: Calum Cossar
Producer: Ninian Perry

Produced and Performed by Paragon in association with Platform Theatre and supported by Creative Scotland and the Royal Academy of Engineering.
A team Engineers from Glasgow University led by Dr Jane Magill and Paragon musicians and dancers are also discovering how S1 / S2 school pupils understand energy conversion in a series of workshops at local schools. An Interactive school’s performance takes place in the afternoon on the same day as Torque.
