Paragon Musicians are travelling to Chennai, India, in November to work with Cerebral Palsy charity, Devasitham and Music Promoter Exodus on an exciting social arts project called ‘Aavaa Dingi’. This will be an incredible opportunity for young people with Cerebral Palsy from deprived backgrounds in Chennai to take part in fun and meaningful music and dance activities, including workshops and showcase performances, with Paragon musicians and dancers.

The workshops will help build skills in music and dance, as well as communication, teamwork and listening, and the performance will improve self-esteem, giving the young people confidence to pursue other personal and professional life aspirations.

We will train Exodus staff in inclusive practice, so that the charity can continue the project when Paragon returns to Scotland, and will be connecting with other likeminded organisations to further promote accessible arts all over the world.
