Horizons is a creative mentoring programme for young people and adults who have faced barriers to accessing the arts. Horizons supports mentees to achieve their creative aspirations, whether these be to perform in public, create new work, begin a career in the industry, or simply immerse themselves in music or dance. Mentees are matched with a professional musician or dancer trained in inclusive practice to support their creative journey. Horizons connects mentees with further opportunities in line with their aspirations such as working with other artists, performing and recording their work, taking part in group workshops, or finding opportunities to train, study or work in their chosen field.
We currently have a number of adults on the Horizons scheme. Read about Richard’s experience here!
